Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience minimum of complex composite repair on wind blades
• Understanding of Epoxy and Polyester resins, wet lay-up, and vacuum bag techniques
• Understanding how to handle balsa and foam core materials
• Knowledge of fiberglass reinforcement and structural repair
• Ability to safely and correctly use powered hand tools
• Quality knowledge of specification (i.e. temperature and humidity restrictions)
• Ability to read complex technical drawings and processes
• IT literate (email, internet, iPad)

Responsibilities

• Perform precision repairs on turbine blades, focusing on composite materials and structural integrity
• Requires hands-on technical expertise to assess, repair, and ensure quality standards in blade maintenance, contributing to safe, reliable operations
• Able to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the task
• Able to tolerate an environment where chemicals and materials are used within OSHA guidelines
• Able to commute to Windsor, CO facility
